WINPRO outer rotor coreless multipole generator
This generator features an outer rotor structure that allows rotation of
a magnet and coreless design that eliminates an iron core. The generator
achieves noise-free rotation, together with extreme smoothness. Since the
generator is free of electrically contacted components, the cogging torque
that impedes rotation is not generated. The rare earth magnet generates
a strong magnetic field. In addition, the multipole design can generate
high voltage even at minimum rotating speeds and realize high-power output
and improved efficiency in the range from low to high wind velocities.
The generator incorporates a gear-free direct drive mechanism.
The WINPRO wind power generation system produces electricity by means of
gear-free direct drive mechanism. This mechanism features high-efficiency
power generation, trouble-free operation, and extreme silence.
The generator ensures safe operation under strong wind conditions.
The generator is so safety-designed that it can endure the continuous braking
even during high-speed rotation under strong wind conditions. The pole-top
bearing made of corrosion resistant aluminum alloy is designed by utilizing
our unique technologies and ruggedly supports the generator shaft, providing
the highest levels of safety even under strong wind conditions. The generator
shaft is equipped with the same hard lock nuts used in wheel shafts of
Shinkansen trains.
The generator has a powerful brake system.
The electric(electromagnetic) brake system of a WINPRO generator permits
trouble and wear-free operation even during continuous operation and thus
ensures the highest safety. The brake system can safely decelerate the
generator even when it is necessary to rapidly stop the generator while
rotating at more than 300 rpm.
